Art Teacher – Independent School

Our client is a well-regarded independent school in West Sussex, is co-educational and has an exceptional reputation for academic success.

Our client is now looking for an Art Teacher to teach a full timetable of Art within the Prep School. The successful Art Teacher will need to have a degree in Art from a good university, and ideally some industry experience. The successful Art Teacher will also need to be enthusiastic about Art and Photography and be willing to be part of the wider school ethos and particularly, helping in the delivery of Art and Design lessons where required. Applications are invited from well qualified and experienced Art Teachers with proven track records for excellence in teaching practice. An Art Teacher with experience within the independent sector is desired but not essential, however the successful Art Teacher must have at least 1 year’s classroom experience.

The salary range is on the school’s own scale, which is considerably above the national average, and is dependent on skillset, qualifications and experience.
