Our client, an independent school in Oxfordshire, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Biology Teacher to join their successful and thriving department.

The school is a high performing independent school in Oxfordshire and is one of the leading schools in the UK. This large selective through-school is well-situated on an historic and expansive grounds, and is successful in its aims to produce well rounded and academic pupils.

We are seeking to recruit a Teacher of Biology to join this large and thriving Department. The Department achieves excellent examination results at GCSE, A-Level and at IBDP and pupil numbers are very strong across the sciences, particularly for Biology. The successful candidate must be or have the potential to become an outstanding teacher and be willing and able to teach across age and ability ranges. They should possess creativity, excellent interpersonal skills and strong organisational abilities over and above a passion for teaching. A commitment to the wider life at the school is essential and the school has a broad and rich extracurricular programme for staff to be involved with.

The salary range is on the school’s own generous scale and dependent on experience.
