Biology Teacher- Independent Fifth and Sixth Form College

Our client, a renowned independent fifth and sixth form college in the Kensington and Chelsea Borough, is looking for a talented teacher of Biology to join them on a permanent basis, this role will specialise in the delivery of A-Level courses to small classes of highly engaged pupils.

The college is one of London’s most respected and successful private stand-alone fifth and sixth form colleges. They are fully co-educational and accept around 500 students each year, preparing them for GCSE and Advanced Level examinations, as well as Oxbridge Entrance. The institution promotes a relaxed, yet collegiate atmosphere combined with a serious attitude to attendance and academia. At inspection, the college has been judged to be excellent in all 8 areas under scrutiny.

The college is now looking to interview candidates for a Biology teaching position. This will be an appointment to support the ongoing growth and development of the college. The successful applicant will work with highly engaged and able small classes of pupils to deliver their GCSE and A-Level Biology qualifications. The successful applicant will have an outstanding subject knowledge and a good degree in a relevant subject area, teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential.

The salary range is on the school’s own generous scale and dependent on experience, there will also be ongoing opportunities for professional growth and development as the college continues its’ successful expansion.
