1 x Biology Teacher, 1 x Chemistry Teacher and 1 x Physics Teacher- Independent Fifth and Sixth Form College

Location: Kensington & Chelsea

Start Date: As soon as possible

Timetable: Full Time

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £32,000 to £45,000

Our client, a leading independent fifth and sixth form in Kensington, is looking for three suitably qualified and experienced Science Teachers to teach in their respected and revered college. They are looking to find someone to teach on either a full time or 0.8 basis (around 4 days a week). Each teacher would specialise in their preferred science. Therefore, the college are looking for one Biology Teacher, one Chemistry Teacher and one Physics Teacher.

The sixth form is part of a leading group of colleges that are recognised across the country and cater to a combination of local and international students. Academic achievement is significantly above average, and the college prides itself on sending its students to the best universities around the world. The college provides a university-style atmosphere and is unique in many ways, an example being that they offer classes of fewer than 10 students per class. The college is friendly and flexible and, therefore, offers an exceptional learning environment.

Currently, the college requires three outstanding Science Teachers to work as part of their thriving Science Department. The ideal candidate should have good teaching experience and have an abundance of enthusiasm for the subject that they teach. The successful applicant will have a good degree in a relevant subject area and teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential. The candidate should be able articulate their previous experience and how it has positively affected their current practice. Furthermore, the candidate must be confident in delivering the GCSE and A-level curriculum to small groups of talented young people.

The salary range is based on the school’s own generous scale and is dependent on experience. There will also be ongoing opportunities for professional growth and development as the college continues its successful expansion.

If you have the required skill set and would like to be considered for this opportunity, please send through your CV or call Ella at Connaught Education for more information.
