Chemistry Teacher

We are looking to recruit an exceptional Chemistry Teacher for an Independent Senior School in London to start as soon as possible on a temporary contract with the potential to explore other longer term options.

The school is a leading Selective Independent Senior School for boys aged 11-18, situated in an historic part of London. Boys enter the Senior School at year 7 and remain until the Sixth Form before going onto further study at world leading universities. The school is at the forefront of education and has dynamic and forward-thinking staff who are provided with all the support they need to ensure a first rate education for their pupils. The school is a flagship member of a wider group of Independent Schools and leads the way in cutting edge educational provision.

The senior school are looking for a Chemistry Teacher to join their dedicated team teaching up to A-level on a permanent contract. A generous salary according to the schools own scale will be offered to the successful candidate. Salary will be discussed at interview and will be dependent on skillset and experience.

The Chemistry Teacher post would suit an NQT or an experienced Teacher. Chemistry Teacher candidates without QTS can be considered although experience teaching and working with children of secondary school age is essential. The successful Chemistry Teacher candidate will have a good degree from a reputable university in a relevant field of study, and will have demonstrable skills to engage young people in learning and encourage aspiration by being a fun and dynamic character and an articulate professional.
