We are looking to recruit an exceptional Classroom Learning Support or SEN Teacher, for an Independent School in Sussex to start immediately.
The school is a leading Independent School and this role is to support pupils aged 11-19. The school is -at the forefront of education and has dynamic and forward-thinking staff who are provided with all the support they need to ensure a first rate education for their pupils. The school is a flagship member of a wider group of and leads the way in cutting edge educational provision.
Starting in September, the school are looking for a Classroom Learning Support or SEN Teacher to provide support to pupils.
Graduates interested to work with children will also be considered. The post of Classroom Learning Support or SEN Teacher would suit someone who has some experience working with children and would like to add to this, working in a successful and well-regarded school with a view to gaining more responsibility and/or training to become a classroom teacher. The successful Classroom Learning Support or SEN Teacher will have demonstrable skills to engage young people in learning, be a fun and dynamic character and an articulate professional.
Essential Criteria for the Classroom Learning Support or SEN Teacher;
- Qualifications in Maths & English – grade C or above
- Learning Support Assistant – Level 3, or higher
- Ability to write and speak clearly
- Have ICT skills to support pupils’ learning
- Ability to relate well to pupils
