Educational Experiences and Trips Coordinator

Our client, a specialist in providing bespoke language immersion and educational school trips, is looking for a personable, intelligent and organised individual who can speak an additional language to be part of their coordination team. The company is interested in anyone who is either moving from an educational background as part of a career change, has come from an administration background or is early on in their career and would like to use their good admins skills and language background to their advantage. The company would also be interested in highly organised language graduates.

Our client provides exclusive international experiences to schools that allow the pupils to immerse themselves in the culture and language of the country they are travelling to. They provide this via specialist venues in France and other countries which allow children to practise their language skills through a variety of activities such as rock climbing and escape rooms. Moreover, they also run trips to other exciting venues around the world for a variety of different educational experiences.

Our client is looking for an engaging, intelligent and vibrant individual to work with the schools to coordinate their different needs and arrange their trips for them, from booking their flights to arranging transport. This individual would organise the trip alongside the school and would be their point of contact from the company. This post would require a coordinator to be organised and enjoy juggling different projects at the same time. The candidate would need to have an affable approach, high levels of emotional intelligence and would be able to their language skills to assist them when working with international businesses and organisations. The relevant candidate does not need to have experience in this type of role but should be able to attest to their good organisation skills, excellent communication skills and their enjoyment of admin tasks. Experience in school trips is desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant will have the following characteristics:

  • An EFL or MFL background
  • Strong communication skills
  • Fantastic organisational skills
  • The ability to multitask and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
