Our client, a vibrant Japanese speaking school in London, is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable EFL Teacher to teach in their institution and to start as soon as possible. The school is looking for a lively teacher who is willing to adapt to a Japanese style of teaching and embrace Japanese culture whilst providing a comprehensive teaching style to their Japanese speaking pupils.
Our client is an expanding school which is part of a worldwide network of Japanese schools. It was created to allow the children of expatriates on secondment from their companies in Japan to have a continual education, no matter their location. The school continues to host Japanese pupils and allows them to celebrate their culture whilst similtaniously appreciating British culture and learning the English language. The school aims to educate pupils to be independent citizens of the world, Japan, and Britain and prides itself on having polite pupils and an excellent behavioural system. The school hosts over 300 pupils from the ages of 6-15 and is proud of its excellent facilities, including a well-furnished library, a sprung running track and well-resourced computer suites.
Our client is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic English Teacher to teach their eager pupils. Knowledge of the Japanese language and education system would be a great asset, but is not essential for this position. The ideal candidate would be hardworking and compassionate about the different needs of the pupils. Furthermore, they would need to be able to adapt to the environment of the school which follows the Japanese National Curriculum.
