Examinations Officer – Independent International Sixth Form College

Our client, an independent sixth form college in the heart of London, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced examinations officer to join their successful and thriving college.
The College: This independent sixth form college, located in central London, provides advanced level tuition for international students looking to apply to top ranked British universities. The independent college offers a wealth of A-level and GCSE courses and all teaching departments are fully facilitated to allow for different teaching and learning styles.
The college’s surrounding area is spotted with well established academic institutes, historic Georgian architecture and green, leafy squares; a vibrant and encouraging environment for students and staff.
The Role: To organise all internal and external examination processes, in liaison with staff, students, parents and examination boards, to ensure that all students are entered appropriately for examinations and work closely with the Curriculum Manager to form examination timetables. To manage the capture, storage and processing of data and the production of associated reports and analyses relating to student performance in support of the college’s aim to raise academic results.
The Applicant: Applications are welcomed from organised professionals capable of working to strict deadlines in a busy office environment. Excellent communicative ability, both oral and written, is vital for liaison with staff, students and parents as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Being literate with IT, particularly databases, data analysis and charting skills is essential along with a methodical approach to work. Applicants who will be considered will have demonstrated these attributes in a professional capacity recently in their career.
Previous experience as an examinations officer would great advance any application.
The salary range is on the school’s own generous scale and dependent on experience.
