We are looking for an experienced, outstanding and well qualified KS2 EYFS to lead the smooth running of this excellent independent pre-preparatory school on a full time, permanent contract from September 2020.

Our client is an Ofsted-outstanding, independent childcare provider located within a beautiful, leafy and affluent North London setting. The school offers an excellent education for pupils aged 0 to 5, where majority of students go on to study at well-regarded, selective independent prep schools. They provide the pupils with a broad and well-balanced curriculum, which meets the needs of each individual child. Our client’s resources are exceptional and academic achievement is far higher than the national average at Early Years level. The school help the children to be caring and eager to participate and learn, whilst ensuring high standards throughout the school.

The school are looking for an exceptional and highly-experienced EYFS Lead, the first time this position has been advertised in over 20 years. The EYFS lead’s main role is to ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the pre-prep school. The successful EYFS Lead candidate will oversee all teaching and learning, and in the planning and delivery of the 4+ assessments. The EYFS Lead applicant will be expected to act as joint Designated Safeguarding Lead and to oversee the safeguarding and welfare of all children. The EYFS Lead candidate will be fully conversant with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, keep up to date with new developments and to act as SENDCO Lead; taking responsibility for children in the school with special educational needs. The EYFS Lead applicant must strive to develop the loyalty and commitment of parents, building a relationship of trust with them and ensuring satisfaction with the school service.

The positon is 8:45am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Highly competitive salary in the range of £50,000 to £70,000.
