Our client, a leading independent school in South London, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Head of Art to join and lead their successful and thriving department from September 2021.
Our client is a well-regarded boy’s prep school situated on the outskirts of London. The school is large with ample resources and facilities available to students and staff and class sizes are kept small. Achievement in all parts of the school is excellent; high aspiration and outstanding pupil achievement, blended with outstanding teaching and learning practices, and wide ranging personal development opportunities provided by extracurricular programmes, make this school one of London’s most well-regarded.
The Position: We are now searching for a suitably qualified and passionate Head of Art to join the Art department in this high performing school. The Head of Art is needed on a full-time permanent basis from September 2021.
The successful Head of Art will need to have a degree in Art from a good university, and ideally some industry experience. The successful Head of Art will also need to be enthusiastic about Art and Photography and be willing to be part of the wider school ethos and particularly, helping in the delivery of Art and Design lessons where required. Further, the successful Head of Art will need to be a creative and dynamic thinker with the ability to plan engaging and exciting lessons.
Applications are invited from well qualified and experienced Art Teachers with proven track records for excellence in teaching practice looking to take the next step in their career. A Head of Art or Art Teacher with experience within the independent sector is desired but not essential.
If you do have the relevant requirements and would like to be considered for the role of Head of Art please send through your CV, or call Mhairi at Connaught for more information.
