Our client, one of London’s leading independent preparatory schools, is looking for an exceptionally qualified and experienced Head of Digital Education and Computing to join their school.

The school, a prestigious co-educational independent preparatory school is based in Wandsworth, and has around 600 pupils on role, aged 4-13. The school has an outstanding digital suite, that comprises of three suites and the use of iPads in every classroom. The school has an excellent reputation for preparing pupils for scholarship and Common Entrance examinations, feeding into London’s highest performing senior schools and other leading senior schools around the UK.

There is currently a vacancy for a Head of Digital Education and Computing to join the school a full time permanent contract. All candidates should be appropriately qualified with a sound knowledge of the KS1/KS2/KS3 Computing curriculum. Ideally, Head of Digital Education and Computing candidates will also have leadership experience and will be capable of strong and strategic leadership. The successful Head of Digital Education and Computing candidate will also need to be a strong cultural fit for the school, especially with regards to the School’s ethos and values surrounding enthusiasm, commitment and willingness. The successful Head of Digital Education and Computing candidate must also demonstrate an interest in the relevant teaching methods applied to children of high ability. An Enhanced BDS is also essential. Secondary trained and experienced teachers will be considered as well as preparatory specialists for the Head of Digital Education and Computing position.

Salary will be determined on the schools own generous scale and is dependent on skillset and experience.
