Our client, a prestigious prep school in West London, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Head of Early Years to join their school from September 2021. The school is non-selective, coeducational and based in West London. Situated within close proximity to internationally renowned museums and parks, the school provides boys and girls with a broad and balanced curriculum, within a truly beautiful location.
The Head of Early Years is required, from September 2021, to manage the Pre-Prep setting, ensuring the high standards of provision and pastoral care are maintained. This post will require a full time commitment and could suit an experienced Head of Early Years or an experienced Early Years professional looking to take the next step in their career.
The successful Head of Early Years will be an exceptional and charismatic leader, who has a clear vision for what makes a successful Pre-Prep division, with a focus for Early Years, in independent school, and will be someone who can develop lasting positive relationships with staff and parents alike. The successful Head of Early Years will also have experience of the independent schools sector as a teacher and leader, leadership experience at various levels, experience of managing, developing, motivating and inspiring staff. The successful Head of Early Years will also be familiar with planning and delivering assessments, and further, the ISI framework. In addition to this, the successful applicant will also be Safeguarding Lead for the Pre-Prep environment, and should have a sound understanding of the responsibilities surrounding this.
