At present, the school is seeking to appoint a Head of English and Classics Faculty on a full time, permanent basis from September 2023.

This is an opportunity for an experienced practitioner to take a step into middle leadership or for an existing middle leader to join a prestigious and high achieving school. The successful applicant does not necessarily have to be able to teach Classics but should be a confident educator who can deliver English Language and Literature to Key Stage 5.

The successful applicant will join a forward-thinking and high-achieving department and be committed to delivering genuinely imaginative, varied and challenging courses. Each year leavers from this school take up places at Oxbridge and other top universities in the UK, Europe, North America and around the world.
