Our client, an independent school in London, is looking for a well-qualified and experienced Head of Mathematics to join their high achieving, well regarded institution.

The school is an independent co-educational, day school which offers a fully-rounded education for boys and girls aged 3 months to 18. The school has a forward thinking educational vision, a growing sixth form, impressive GCSE and A Level results and an ambitious development programme. Our client has distinguished buildings, extensive facilities and acres of park land are conducive to providing a varied programme that includes sports, languages, performing arts, fine arts and a kaleidoscope of extracurricular activities.

The school are looking for a committed and well-qualified Head of Mathematics to lead their successful Mathematics department, it is one of their strongest subjects. The Head of Mathematics candidate will have the ability to teach the subject from KS3 to A Level. The successful Head of Mathematics applicant will have the ability to engage young people and inspire them with a love of the subject. The Head of Mathematics candidate will likely be a mathematics graduate or in a related subject who is knowledgeable in their field, having excellent academics themselves. The client are looking for a Head of Mathematics who has breadth of vision, creativity, energy and motivation to lead the development of learning and teaching in mathematics at the school.

Salary is competitive and is dependent on experience.
