The School:
Our client is a well-established co-educational Independent school, looking for an excellent Head of Pre-Prep to take on this leadership position. The school is very well-resourced school and has and a good mix of boarding and day students and boys and girls. The school is located on a truly beautiful site and is looking for a lead Head of Pre-Prep for a permanent senior position.
The Role:
The school is seeking a Head of Pre-Prep with the ability to inspire staff and children age 2 to 6 and work was part of a well-regarded coeducational Prep school.
The Head of Pre-Prep will manage teachers and Teaching Assistants and with the support of the Head oversee SoW. The Head of Pre-Prep will prepare for inspections, along with SMT and ensure the team provide the best education to children aged 2 to 6.
This Head of Pre-Prep role may suit a current teacher of Reception, KS1 or KS2, with some leadrship, looking to embark on a new and exciting challenge and lead a team within an excellent school.
The Successful Head of Pre-Prep will meet the following essential criteria:
– Good honours degree or equivalent, with teaching qualification
– Proven good track record as a middle leader
– Good knowledge and experience of Early Years and KS1
– Outstanding Teaching
– Good working knowledge of safeguarding
– Excellent communicator and able to liaise with staff, pupils, parents and SMT
