Our client is a well-established coeducational Independent school, looking for an excellent EYFS lead to take on this exciting challenge of opening a brand new Pre-Prep. This opportunity would suit an ambitious EYFS Teacher, who has been trained within the UK, to take on a leadership position of a Pre-Prep. Our Client is looking for a lead EYFS Teacher, with string teaching experience to take on management of staff in this position, alongside ensuring high calibre teaching and learning is being delivered to young children. The Pre-Prep is located on a beautiful site and is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic EYFS lead, to manage the 100 place Pre-Prep.
The Head of Pre-Prep will have the ability to inspire staff and young children and work was part of a well-regarded coeducational Prep school.
The Head of Pre-Prep will manage teachers and Teaching Assistants with the support of the Head and oversee SoW.
The Head of Pre-Prep will prepare for inspections, along with SMT and ensure the whole team provide the best education to young children.
This Head of Pre-Prep may suit a current teacher of EYFS, lead EYFS Teacher, or a Reception Teacher, looking to embark on a new and exciting challenge and lead a team part of an excellent school. The Head of Pre-Prep will be vital in appoint staff, ensuring the layout and design is the best possible option to maximise learning for early years pupils.
The Successful Head of Pre-Prep will meet the following essential criteria:
– PGCE in Early Years, from a recognised UK University
– Good honours degree, with a recognised teaching qualification
– Proven good track record as an Early Years Teacher/ Lead
– Good knowledge and experience of Early Years and ideally KS1
– Outstanding Teaching within a Pre-Prep
– Good working knowledge of safeguarding
– Excellent communicator and able to liaise with staff, pupils, parents and SMT
Zoom Interviews will take place upon receipt of applications and seeking someone available to start in February 2021 or Easter 2021, before the opening of the Pre-Prep in September 2021. Relocation package is available for the right candidate
