Our client, a Leading Independent Prep School in London, is looking for qualified Head of Science to join their knowledgeable and dedicated Science department. The position is suitable for both an experienced Science Teacher and an experienced Head of Science.

The school is an outstanding Independent School, located in Surrey, which caters for the education of boys from the age of 3 to 16. The school are now looking for a Head of Science to join them on a full time permanent basis, commencing September 2020. The role of the Head of Science includes teaching Science up to KS3. In addition to this, the appointed Head of Science will hold Form Teacher responsibilities, where they will be responsible for the daily registration of pupils and further, the monitoring of pupils academic, pastoral and social development.

Head of Science must be able to teach to KS3, and the position is suited to both Science Teachers as well as experienced Head of Science. The successful Head of Science candidate will also possess the ability to communicate effectively with staff and students, and support the children in fulfilling their own potential.

Salary will be competitive and dependent on the applicant’s experience as Head of Science.
