Connaught Education is currently working in partnership with one of the oldest and most renowned independent senior schools in Kent, catering for girls on a day and boarding basis, to appoint a History Teacher from September 2024. The role in question is a one term contract on a 0.6/0.8 basis.

The school in question has a rich history of providing an outstanding education to girls, it is set in a stunning rural location and benefits from first rate facilities.

History is a small but successful department in the school, it is a popular choice at KS4 and 5 and pupils are engaged in the subject and their learning, both GCSE and A-Level results are excellent.

The appointed History Teacher will be an inspiring practitioner with experience of KS4 and 5 teaching, a good degree in a relevant subject area is essential and QTS is desirable.
