HR Officer – Independent Sixth Form College
Location: Kensington & Chelsea
Start Date: July 2019 or ASAP thereafter
Timetable: Full Time
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £30,000-£35,000
Our client, an independent sixth form college in central London, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced HR Officer to support the smooth running of their school.
The college is one of London’s most renowned and successful stand-alone sixth form colleges in London. They are fully co-educational and accept around 500 students each year, preparing them for GCSE and advanced level examinations, as well as Oxbridge Entrance. The institution promotes a relaxed yet collegiate atmosphere combined with a serious attitude to attendance and academia. At inspection, the college has been judged to be excellent in all 8 areas under scrutiny.
The college is now looking to interview candidates for a full time permanent HR Officer role. This will be a permanent appointment to support ongoing growth and development. The role of HR officer will be broad in scope and varied because of the size of the school support team. The appointed HR officer will need to be versatile in their approach and able to work well as part of a dynamic team, as well as autonomously. The focus of the HR officer will be with compliance, hiring and staff recruitment. Experience in a school setting is desired but not essential. The successful candidate will be familiar with HR recruitment, compliance and hiring processes, able to support an HR manager effectively in each of these areas. The appointed HR officer will be expected to take a leading role with regards to compliance requirements for staff at the college working with the senior leadership team on current policy implementation and national minimum standards.
The salary range is on the school’s own generous scale and dependent on experience, on a range between £30,000 to £35,000.
The working hours for this position will be 0900 to 1730, Monday to Friday.
If you do have the relevant requirements and would like to be considered for this opportunity please send through your CV, or call Phil at Connaught for more information.
