Our client, a well-regarded Independent Preparatory School in London, is looking for a suitably experienced school IT Manager to join their successful and thriving school.

The School:
The school is an established Prep Day School in trendy north London which caters for pupils between the ages of 4 and 13 and prepares them for entry into the country’s leading senior schools. The academic performance of the school is well above the national average. The school has an excellent reputation for placing pupils into the right follow-on schools and has been commended for successfully producing well rounded, academic and happy students. The school has received the highest award at inspection and continues to be a leading school in a competitive area of London.

The role:
The successful IT Manager candidate will take responsibility for the strategic planning and coordination of all aspects of IT across the school, ensuring robust systems are in place to support Teaching and Learning, provide excellent services to staff and students, and oversee the day to day management of a comprehensive IT service delivery. The school IT Manager will have relevant qualifications allowing them to support IT across the school effectively as well as excellent interpersonal skills as a key part of the role of school IT manager will be to communicate effectively with staff at all levels of seniority inside and outside the organisation.

Previous experience as a school IT manager isn’t essential but would be helpful for any application, particularly as familiarity of school-specific technology e-Learning

Salary will be determined on the school’s own generous scale and will be commensurate with skill set and experience.
