Our client, one of the best Independent Schools in the UK, is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to their Prep School from September 2020. The school is co-educational and caters to both day and boarding pupils. The school is focused on developing pupils to their full potential by creating an academically stimulating environment. Aside from academics, sports is very much at the heart of pupil development. The school is home to multiple sports pitches, a swimming pool and a range of additional sports facilities.
The KS2 Teaching Assistant role is available from September 2020, and is initially advertised as a part-time position Ideally, the school ask that the KS2 Teaching Assistant have a L3 qualification, and have experience working within either an independent or a state school. Further, the successful KS2 Teaching Assistant will ideally have experience with supporting Phonics and Maths in particular. An interest in Sports/Games is an essential pre-requisite of the successful KS2 Teaching Assistant as delivery of Games lessons may be required.
