Location: Kensington and Chelsea
Start Date: September 2020
Salary: Competitive with additional benefits
Our client is a highly regarded Independent Boy’s Prep School in Central London, and they are looking to appoint an experienced Maths Teacher from September 2020.
Our client is one of London’s most prestigious Independent Boy’s Prep Schools, educating around 200 pupils. The school is situated in Kensington and Chelsea, with outstanding facilities in-house, and full utilisation of the nearby parks and public spaces. The school is an IAPS preparatory school, and there is a large focus on the creative arts and sports, as well as academics. All pupils sit either the Common Entrance or Scholarship examinations and go onto top Independent day and boarding schools.
From September 2020, our client is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher to their thriving school community. The ideal Maths Teacher will need to have experience teaching Maths at senior school level, and so this position is not suitable for an NQT Maths Teacher. All pupils sit either the Common Entrance or Scholarship examinations, and so it is desirable that the successful Maths Teacher have experience preparing pupils for these examinations. Our client expects that aside from teaching Maths, the Maths Teacher play an active role in the pastoral life of the school, for example as a form tutor. Experience working within an Independent Senior Through School, and teaching Maths to a higher level, as the school has a strong academic focus.
If you do have the relevant requirements and would like to be considered for the role of Maths Teacher please send through a copy of your CV, or call Mhairi at Connaught for more information.
