A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a motivated team in a new premium school on the island of the Bahamas. The school is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Maths Teacher who can bring a dedication to supporting each student to thrive, a forward-thinking attitude and outstanding experience of practice across the sector. This role would be teaching key stage 2, as well as key stage 3 mathematics.
Our client, one of the largest, premium international school organisations, is looking for exceptional teachers who with them excellent experience, forward-thinking attitudes, and formidable reputations from the best schools across the word.
Due to the high prestige of the school, the successful candidate would be required to have excellent academics and a sound knowledge of the independent school sector. Experience teaching in international schools is desirable, but not essential.
The group of international schools provide children with a British and international education. The school is equipped with excellent facilities including football pitches, tennis courts, as well as dance, drama, and art studios. There will also be state-of-the-art science labs, a multi-purpose hall, a 25m swimming pool, an adventure park playground, and plenty of green spaces and shaded areas for students to enjoy.
When the school first opened, it welcomed up to 350 students aged 4-11, with an additional year group being added each year until year 13, along with a kindergarten. The school now goes up from Early Years to pupils aged 14.
