Teacher of Mathematics – Independent School

Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Significantly above the Main Scale, with a generous discretionary bonus for extra-curricular involvement.
The school are a distinctive, nurturing school dedicated to up to 120 boys and girls from KS2 to KS4 who face challenges such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. They offer a modified national curriculum tailored to support each student’s individual needs, fostering their academic and personal growth in a supportive environment.
The school are seeking an outstanding Teacher of Mathematics who can:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic Mathematics lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of their students.
- Create a learning environment that encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity.
- Incorporate the school’s unique literacy programme into your teaching – no prior experience with dyslexia required, as full training will be provided.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to support student progress, providing constructive feedback and maintaining detailed records.
The school welcomes applications from enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) as well as experienced educators.

Your Profile:
- Qualifications: Degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

- Empathy and Adaptability: Ability to connect with young people, particularly those with learning difficulties, and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
