Our client, a leading independent school in rural Hertfordshire, is seeking a well-qualified Maths Teacher to teach at their well-renowned school. The eventual Maths Teacher should have a passion for their subject and should be able to inspire their pupils. The ideal candidate should have good teaching experience and have an abundance of enthusiasm for the subject that they teach.
The successful applicant will have a good degree in a relevant subject area. The candidate should be able to articulate their previous experience and how it has positively affected their current practice. Furthermore, the candidate must be confident in delivering the GCSE and A-level curriculum to small groups of talented young people.
The post would suit either a NQT or a more experienced teacher looking for a new challenge within an intellectually stimulating environment. All teachers are expected to play a full part in the wider co-curricular life of the school.
The school is looking for a dynamic and committed Maths Teacher to teach from Lower School 1 (Year 7) through to the Upper Sixth. The Maths Teacher will be expected to use a variety of teaching methods across the full scope of the students, including teaching GCSE, A Level and/or the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.

The salary range is based on the school’s own generous scale and is dependent on experience.
