Our client, an excellent-rated independent preparatory school in South London, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Music Teacher to join their dedicated and enthusiastic teaching team.
This well-resourced and historic school occupies a site of vast grounds comprising of first-class indoor and outdoor teaching and sporting facilities. They provide education for boys aged 2-13, the main school is housed in a Victorian stately home, but there are also modern labs and a variety of classroom types in newer buildings on the same site.
The school are looking for a dynamic and well-qualified Music Teacher to join their passionate and enthusiastic staff team, whose role will include teaching class music as well as individual music lessons, theory classes and encouraging and promoting music throughout the school. This is a full-time permanent role to commence September 2021. The successful Music Teacher will be an outstanding pianist, with a reputation as a first class piano teacher and be prepared to support the Director of Music in the management of a very busy department. The Music Teacher position would suit either an experienced teacher or someone recently qualified. Music Teachers should have a good degree of knowledge of Music at this level. Experience in the UK school’s system is essential and applicants should be able to achieve exceptional results.
Salary will be determined on the school’s own scale and is dependent on experience.
A generous salary according to the schools own salary scale will be offered to the successful Music Teacher candidate. Salary will be discussed at interview and will be dependent on skillset and experience.
