Personal Assistant to Head of Prep School
Start Date: September 2024
Hours: 08:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, term time (39 weeks a year)
Location: Hillingdon
Salary: £25,500 – £28,500 (FTE: 38,000)
We are currently seeking a Personal Assistant to join a high-performing independent through school in Northwood from September 2024. The school are seeking a Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Prep School.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the Head of Prep’s computerised diary
- Coordinate and manage parent evenings online
- Arrange and attend meetings, taking and distributing accurate minutes
- Draft letters and manage correspondence
- Prepare daily schedules and related paperwork
- Plan and coordinate events
- Maintain financial records for the Head of Prep
- Communicate on behalf of the Head of Prep with staff, pupils, parents, and the community
- Perform photocopying, printing, and filing tasks
- Other duties as required by the Head of Prep
- Support and promote the school’s ethos and objectives
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies
- Maintain high standards of attendance, punctuality, and conduct
Required Qualifications and Attributes:
- Previous high-level PA/Secretarial experience
- Strong rapport with young children
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures in a school setting
- High literacy skills for proofreading and drafting
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities
- Proactive and accountable
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent IT skills, including advanced Microsoft Office
- Professional demeanor
- Experience in an educational setting
