Part-Time French Teacher – Independent Prep School, North London

Location: North London
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time (1 day per week)
Salary: Dependent on experience

An established and nurturing independent prep school in Hampstead is seeking a dedicated and engaging French Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis, teaching Reception to Year 4 pupils.

The successful candidate will be passionate about language learning and confident in delivering creative and age-appropriate French lessons that inspire a love of languages in young learners. Experience in EYFS and KS1/KS2 settings is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons to pupils from Reception to Year 4

  • Foster enthusiasm and curiosity for French language and culture

  • Use a range of teaching strategies suitable for early years and lower prep pupils

  • Contribute to the school’s warm, inclusive, and vibrant learning environment
