We are currently looking for a well organised and enthusiastic Receptionist or School Administrator to join an Independent Sixth Form College.
Our client is a well-regarded independent school with an excellent reputation locally and across London and is part of a wider group of independent Colleges.
To be considered for the position of Receptionist or School Administrator you must have previous administration experience, with excellent Microsoft Office skills. The ideal Receptionist or School Administrator needs to be highly organised and able to work in a busy environment and has ideally worked within a school/college environment.
Summary of the role:
The Receptionist or School Administrator, will be answering incoming calls, working with administration colleagues and working with Registrar, Principal’s PA and academic colleagues in support role. You therefore need to be flexible, calm under pressure and well spoken, with an excellent telephone manner.
Among duties and responsibilities for the Receptionist or School Administrator:
- Meet and greet visitors, prospective students/parents
- Staff reception area, keeping it tidy and issuing staff cards and taking delivery of parcels
- Assisting admissions team and ensure all paperwork is up to date
- Administration of student files
- Answering, managing and directing calls, in a highly professional manner
The ideal Receptionist or School Administrator candidate will have previous experience within the school.
The school has a strong ethos of student welfare therefore any successful applicant will undergo a full enhanced criminal record check (DBS).
