The School:
Our Clients is Independent Prep School based in Somerset, co-educational school for pupils until the age of 13. The school’s mission is to create a secure and happy environment where children develop the skills to thrive as adults. In their most recent ISI inspection, the school received the highest grade.
The Role:
The successful applicant will be required to teach general Science across the age range. The department is organised so that full-time Science teachers have a variety of sets across the ability range. Relevant experience of teaching Prep Science is essential. An enthusiastic Science Teacher is required to teach engages pupils, at mainly KS3 Science.
The Successful Science Teacher Candidate will be required to teach Science to KS3 mainly.
Essential Criteria for the Science Teacher;
* A good degree in Science, or in a related discipline
* Ability to adopt and deliver a variety of teaching and learning styles
* A thorough knowledge and a real enthusiasm for Science
* Successful Science teaching experience across the ability and Prep age range
* Ability and confidence to teach high-achieving students and support less able students
Desirable:
- QTS
