SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistant- Independent School

Start Date: September 221
Timetable: Full Time
Contract: Permanent

Our client is a highly regarded Independent Senior School in Ascot. The School is co-educational catering to pupils from 4 to 18. The School has outstanding facilities and is proud to specialise in non-selective education, providing opportunities for pupils at all levels of ability. In addition to this, classrooms are well equipped with digital learning at the heart of teaching.

From September 2021, our client is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their school. The successful SEN TA will work directly with the SENDCo, and closely with teachers throughout the school. The ability to form strong working relationships and work well within a team is therefore essential pre-requisites of the successful SEN TA. The role of SEN TA will involve working on a 1:1 and group basis, supporting pupils with SpLD, including EAL. Please note that the experience of working with pupils with SEN is essential.

The salary for the successful SEN Teaching Assistant is dependent on experience. Interviews will take place remotely and in line with government guidelines surrounding social distancing.

If you do have the relevant requirements and would like to be considered for the position of SEN TA, please send through your CV to Hayley Logue at Connaught Education.
