Connaught Education is currently working in partnership with the oldest and most prestigious independent fifth and sixth form in London to appoint a SENCO on a full time, permanent basis from September 2024.

The independent school in question has a rich and extensive history of supporting pupils in obtaining outstanding GCSE and A-Level results, allowing them to progress to the best universities in the UK and around the world.

The appointed SENCO will have key responsibilities for exam access arrangements and a qualification for this as well as a formal SENCO qualification is essential, degree level qualifications are also desired although QTS is not a necessity.

The successful SENCO will lead on SEN provision throughout the school, liaising with parents, running study support sessions and one to one sessions with pupils who require this.

The school in question is committed to providing training, professional development and growth to staff at all levels.
