Senior Admissions and Agent Coordinator

Contract: Fixed Term (Maternity cover for 1 year)

Start Date: December 5th, 2022 (the current postholder is due to go on maternity leave on 20th December 2022, enabling a 2-week hand over period)

Salary: £40,000-£45,000

Our client, a group of the most prestigious independent sixth-form colleges in the country, is looking for a Senior Admissions and Agent Coordinator for a year-long maternity cover. The suitable candidate will have an expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and managing data using different educational platforms.

The group has been synonymous with quality education provision in an international setting since 1931 and is very popular with students both in the UK and internationally. The colleges offer a vibrant, international setting, modern boarding provision and an outstanding education for sixth-form students. Additionally, the colleges boast excellent academic results. The office is located in central London and the employer places a sharp focus on investment in training and development for its staff. The eventual postholder will have the opportunity to work from home at some points in their timetable, as well as in their central office.

The role is dual purpose and would involve coordinating the admissions and finance of the colleges. Data analysis is at the core of this role and, therefore, the ability to use Excel to a very advanced level is essential. Moreover, experience with using SIMS or other MIS systems is also highly important. The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, administrative support and agent management and coordination. Furthermore, a key element of the role is liaison with central finance to ensure commission payments are accurate and punctual.

The successful applicant should have relevant experience in finance and admissions, preferably in an educational setting. The candidate will need to be personable and engaging; acting as the main point of contact for international sales agents, who carry out student recruitment, is a key element of the role. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should have the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

If you possess relevant experience and feel that you would be a suitable candidate for this position, then we would welcome an application from you. If you have any further questions about the role, then feel free to call the Connaught Education London offices on 0203 4055 720 and speak with Ella Hayes for further details.
