• Sessional Mathematics Teacher
• Private Day and Boarding Senior School and Sixth Form

We are looking to recruit an exceptional Teacher of Mathematics for an Independent Day and Boarding School in London to start on a sessional basis from September 2023. The role in question will be an hourly, sessional role but there is the high likelihood of regular weekly hours and a salaried contract from September 2024.

The school is an award-winning Independent School in an historic part of central London. The pupil roll is mostly made of international students and the school have over 40 countries represented in their student cohort. The pupils are aged 13-19 with the majority of students studying at KS5 level. The 5th and 6th form college received national acclaim in recent years and received the top award available in the UK for the overall quality and provision of education and learning experiences. The majority of the ~400 pupils board on-site, and all students are highly engaged in their learning.

Due to growth the school is looking for a Teacher of Mathematics to join their dedicated team teaching both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

This post would suit an experienced Teacher. Candidates without QTS can be considered although experience teaching and working with children of secondary school age is essential. The successful candidate will have a good degree from a reputable university in a relevant field of study and will have demonstrable skills to engage young people in learning and encourage aspiration by being a fun and dynamic character and an articulate professional.
