Role: KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Hampstead, North London
Start Date: January 2023
Salary: £20,000-25,000
Our client, an academically ambitious preparatory school for boys in North London, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual with an engaging and caring manner to be placed with one of their Junior School Groups as a KS1/KS2 teaching assistant. The school describes itself to be warm, welcoming and academically stimulating.
The successful candidate will be dynamic, caring and have an ability to effectively support and inspire the pupils. It is crucial that the candidate can contribute towards the warm, welcoming and safe atmosphere that the school prides itself on. The school strives to create an atmosphere in which every child can thrive and feel comfortable. The school are also academically ambitious for the boys. Despite the school’s mixed ability intake, the majority of boys gain entry to top London day schools and leading boarding schools. However, for this school, the most important outcome is for all boys to be kind, considerate and confident whilst looking out for every member of the school community.
The eventual postholder would be placed within a class and would assist the Class Teacher within that class. The school can offer a stimulating work environment, with excellent career progression opportunities and a very competitive salary for the right candidate.
The school offers an excellent education for boys between the ages of 4-13. In partnership with their immensely supportive families, they are helping the boys to develop at a crucial, formative stage of their lives. The right candidate will join the school with the aim of helping the boys to leave with a strong sense of empathy, humility and compassion.
