What we do
We provide a professional recruitment service to the independent schools sector across the UK and globally. We recruit at all levels, from classroom teachers and support staff through to senior management and leadership appointments.
We specialise in permanent and long-term appointments but also provide short term cover for our clients on a supply basis. We are experienced in finding high quality candidates for a wide range of roles and use our knowledge of the sector to advise both parties in the recruitment process to achieve the best outcome for them.
We understand that, in the independent sector, a successful appointment depends not only on finding a high quality candidate but also in making the right cultural fit. With an ongoing teacher shortage, the need for schools to find high quality staff has never been greater.
Who we work with
We work with independent schools across the UK and globally. We are based in Central London and have always had a large client base in London and the Home Counties. However, over the years we have developed relationships throughout the UK and work with independent schools in the South West, the Midlands, Wales, the North and Scotland.
Our clients include charitable trusts, limited companies and international corporations. We have worked with independent schools from all of the recognised associations including HMC, IAPS, ISA, SoH and GSA. Connaught also works extensively with international schools across the globe ranging from English curriculum schools with parent organisations in the UK to IB World Schools to privately owned organisations.
We are located in Central London which is ideal for connecting with UK trained teachers interested in this burgeoning market. We have worked with international schools from several prestigious associations including COBIS, BSME and BSO.
