The successful candidate will have:
- A 2:1 honours degree from a British university (or equivalent)
- A PGCE or recognised secondary teaching qualification, specialising in English
- Recent experience teaching IGCSE and A Level English
- The ability to adapt teaching strategies to support the needs of individual learners
- High expectations of student effort and behaviour, supported by strong and effective classroom management skills
