Connaught Education is working with an exceptional British Independent School, based in the island paradise of The Bahamas to appoint a Mathematics Teacher on a permanent basis from August 2026.

This premium school is the only independent school on the island to be a member of the world’s largest and most prestigious independent schools’ group, bringing with it outstanding opportunities for both staff and pupils.

The school initially opened in 2022 to 350 pupils and has added a further year group each year, next year will see the first intake of Year 11 pupils, the school is extremely popular and forecast to continue growing.

The school boasts world class facilities for day and boarding pupils on its new, purpose-built campus, these included everything from modern science laboratories to dance studios, swimming pools and a full-size football pitch.

The appointed Mathematics Teacher will deliver the British curriculum up to GCSE and A-Level. The role is suitable for someone with QTS, a strong academic background including graduation from a Russell Group University, strong A-Level and GCSE results and a demonstrable track record of teaching at top UK or international independent schools.
