The School:

Our Client is widely recognised as one of the leading co-educational Senior Schools, teaching pupils aged 11-18. The school has just over 350 pupils and has very good academic standards as well as an extensive programme of extra-curricular activities. The school requires a Maths Teacher for the Autumn Term and accommodation is provided.

The Maths Teacher:

The successful Maths Teacher will be required to teach Maths to pupils aged 11- 18 years old. Support will be provided, to teach the IB Curriculum and welcome receiving applications, if you have taught A Level Maths. Teaching iGCSE Maths, with junior teaching (from the age of 11) and supporting less able students, as well as high achieving students is very well received too.

The Successful Maths Teacher Candidate will meet the following essential criteria:

• A good degree in Maths, from a recognised UK university
  * Ability to adopt and deliver a variety of teaching and learning styles
  * A thorough knowledge and a real enthusiasm for teaching Maths
  * Good Maths teaching experience, ideally up to A level Maths
  * Ability and confidence to teach high-achieving maths students and support less able maths students

Desirable:

• Knowledge, or teaching experience of IB Curriculum
